Our Story
started Grey Bae because I couldn’t find what I was actually looking for.
It wasn’t just about saddle pads—it was about how everything looked and felt together. I kept seeing products that worked, but didn’t inspire me. Or they looked good, but didn’t hold up the way they should. Nothing really matched the idea I had in my head: something clean, timeless, and quietly bold. Something that felt as good in the stable as it looked in photos.
At first, I told myself I was being too picky. That “good enough” should be enough. But every time I rode, trained, or scrolled through tack shops, that idea kept coming back: why isn’t there something that actually feels like me?
So I stopped waiting for it.
Grey Bae started from that frustration, but also from love—love for the sport, for the details most people overlook, for the small moments before a ride when everything is being set up and nothing else matters yet. I wanted to build something that lived in that space: simple, elevated, and intentional.
From rider to rider, I wanted to create something I would genuinely choose myself—something that fits the way we ride, train, and care about the details that matter.
Grey Bae isn’t just about saddle pads. It’s about creating something that finally matched the standard I couldn’t find anywhere else.
And now it exists—because I decided I was done waiting for someone else to make it.
